Minulý měsíc, 19. - 22. 3., jsme se zúčastnili výběrové konference Evropského parlamentu mládeže v Brně, která nám přinesla spoustu nových zkušeností, zážitků i přátelství.
Ve čtvrtek jsme se poprvé setkali s našimi committees. Atmosféra byla od začátku velmi přátelská a otevřená. Během dne proběhlo několik ceremonií, které oficiálně zahájily celé setkání a pomohly vytvořit silný pocit komunity mezi účastníky. Součástí dne bylo také Eurovillage, kde jsme měli možnost ochutnat mnoho tradičních jídel z různých zemí, což byl skvělý kulturní zážitek.
Pátek byl ve znamení intenzivní práce. Dopoledne i odpoledne jsme se věnovali committee work, kde jsme diskutovali o různých tématech a společně hledali řešení. Součástí dne byla také panelová debata, která se nám velmi líbila – byla inspirativní a přinesla mnoho zajímavých pohledů. Kromě toho proběhlo i zasedání, během kterého jsme prezentovali naše výsledky.
Sobota měla o něco volnější program, což nám umožnilo více si odpočinout a užít si čas s ostatními účastníky. Celý den byl zakončen společnou party, která byla skvělou tečkou.
V neděli proběhlo General Assembly, během kterého jsme představili naši práci. Byla to skvělá příležitost ukázat výsledky našeho úsilí a zároveň si poslechnout prezentace ostatních týmů.
Na závěr následoval Closing ceremony, který celou akci slavnostně uzavřel. Byla to chvíle plná emocí, ohlédnutí za uplynulými dny a rozloučení s novými přáteli.
Celé EYP v Brně pro nás bylo velmi přínosné – nejen díky novým znalostem a zkušenostem, ale také díky lidem, které jsme měli možnost poznat.
Last month, we took part in an EYP session in Brno, which brought us many new experiences, memories, and friendships.
On Thursday, we met our committees for the first time. The atmosphere was friendly and welcoming from the very beginning. During the day, several ceremonies took place to officially open the session and create a strong sense of community among participants. We also enjoyed the Eurovillage, where we had the opportunity to taste many traditional dishes from different countries, which was a great cultural experience.
Friday was focused on intensive work. Throughout the day, we participated in committee work, discussing various topics and working together to find solutions. There was also a panel debate, which we really enjoyed—it was inspiring and offered many interesting perspectives. In addition, we held a session during which we presented our ideas.
Saturday had a more relaxed schedule, giving us time to rest and spend more time with other participants. The day ended with a party, which was a perfect way to end the day.
On Sunday, the General Assembly took place, where we presented our work. It was a great opportunity to show the results of our efforts and listen to presentations from other committees as well.
Finally, the session concluded with the closing ceremony. It was an emotional moment, full of reflection and farewells to new friends.
Overall, the EYP session in Brno was a very valuable experience for us—not only because of the knowledge we gained, but also thanks to the people we met.
